Education Partners
We work side by side with our education partners every day. Together we execute a unique structured approach that is making progress toward the goal of ending generational poverty in Greene County, Georgia. The combination of a private foundation with a college & career academy inside a high school where some teachers are credentialed as adjunct professors of a technical college brings the possibility to life. The students learn academics to prepare them for college or trade skills to prepare them to go directly into the workforce or military.
Community Partners
The students attending Greene College & Career Academy also participate in other support organizations in our local community. These organizations including Pete Nance Boys & Girls Club, Greene County Habitat for Humanity and Atlas Ministries can utilize and reinforce the benefit of having a career plan, a career coach and the opportunity to earn financial assistance to further their education, begin a career or begin military service. A number of individuals associated with our community partners are also part of our career coaching program and work with the same high school students in two capacities.
We stand committed to embracing a diverse, equitable, and inclusive mindset in all endeavors.
