Want Students To Succeed? Don’t Give Up On Parents
Take Greene County High School in Georgia, a Title I school in rural Georgia, where community members mentor students to help end the cycle of generational poverty. In partnership with the Thillen Education Foundation, the Greene College and Career Academy (GCCA) provides opportunity by pairing students and volunteers for career coaching appointments, work-based learning, and personal growth tasks.

Thillen Education Foundation raises more than $300,000
The Thillen Education Foundation (TEF) would like to thank the community for its overwhelming support on Giving Tuesday. The goal was to raise $237,000 to replenish the financial assistance awarded to 2025 graduates in the career coaching program at Greene College & Career Academy (GCCA) inside Greene County High School.
